The United School District has 940 students enrolled for the upcoming school year, Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt says.

High School enrollment currently stands at 249 students, which is low according to Whitsitt.

Whitsitt also says that United will be in Class 1A for athletics.

Whitsitt gives an overview of how many students are enrolled by class.

“Our elementary numbers through about seventh grade are real consistent; high sixties, seventies. Our incoming Junior group is in the low fifties, and our incoming Freshman group is in the high fifties.”

Online registration begins July 25, with in-person registration on August 8 at United High School.
