“This idea of training for incumbent workers, investing in our current employees, and investing in yourself. Incentivizing people to get that next degree, that next certification, that next number of hours to get to that next tier, which may come with a salary increase or not, or a benefit increase. How do you motivate your employees to do that? This is why I like the idea of fostering career pathways to entry level jobs.”
Ways to foster careers and investments for entry-level and current employees such as bank tellers and insurance adjusters include incentivizing employees to further their education and certification, and on-site skill-based workshops to expand employee skill sets.
