Monmouth College Men’s and Women’s Golf Programs Hire Scott Weber as Assistant Coach

Share

Monmouth-Roseville High School is searching for a new golf coach as Scott Weber has accepted an offer to become the men’s and women’s assistant golf coach at Monmouth College. Weber will join Cory Bizarri’s staff in the fall. Weber took over the Titan golf program last summer after long-time coach Mark Shrader resigned after 21 successful years. I got a chance to talk to Weber about his new job after his final round of the Monmouth All-City Golf Tournament yesterday. Weber has won the Tournament twice, with the most recent victory coming in 2017. Cory Bizarri has been the Fighting Scots men’s golf head coach for the past three years and starting this fall, he will also be the women’s head coach as well. Weber said it was bittersweet leaving a storied Titan golf program but a college coaching opportunity was one that he couldn’t pass up. The Monmouth College women will hit the course first as they host Augustana College on Sunday, August 25th at Gibson Woods Golf Course.
