OSF Unveiling Saint Gabriel Healthcare Service

Share

OSF Holy Family Medical Center is introducing a new innovation in digital healthcare.

The innovation is called Saint Gabriel, a virtual hub that links patients to their healthcare provider and nurses, monitor bodily functions like oxygen through an Ipad that links to their physician, and an order-delivery service that allows patients to order health care items from home.

OSF President Jackie Kernan says she is excited about what this new technology will bring to the health care field:

“What I’m excited for is this innovation in technology. Through telehealth, through virtual care, I think those are all areas for the future and something that’s really going to heighten the way we care for our community members.”

For those who are interested in the Saint Gabriel Initiative, please contact your OSF Healthcare provider, and listen to Kernan’s interview at RADIOMONMOUTH.COM.
