Treva N. Cavallo, age 81, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 4:03 PM
on Friday, August 2, 2019 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg,
Illinois. She was born on November 10, 1937 in Quincy, Illinois, the
daughter of William and Nellie (Heaton) Gooding. Treva attended school
in Quincy. On November 10, 1959, she married George W. Cavallo in
Quincy, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2009. Treva
was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino, and
watching Gunsmoke and Bonanza on television. Mostly, Treva like to love
on her great-grandchildren and converse lovingly with the rest of her
family.
Treva is survived by one daughter, Hope Doty of Oquawka, Illinois, one
grandson, Rusty (Ariel) Hand-Cavallo of Oquawka, Illinois, one
granddaughter, Angel Hand-Cavallo of Burlington, Iowa, four
great-grandchildren; Kalel, Zayden, Carsten, Ember, and one due August
19th, and one sister, Candy (Bill) Williams of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She
is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Sandra, Sonia, Sheila,
Sumaya, Sunda, Tammy, Missy, and Kirk, and many great-nieces and
nephews. Treva is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her
sister, Lois Bradshaw, and her brother, Donald Gooding.
A Gathering of Family and Friends is planned from 5:00-7:00 PM on
Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois.
