Jeremy Allen Hoover, age 37 of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday September 10, 2019 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.  He was born June 29, 1982 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Billy Charles and Melinda Kay Thomason Hoover.

Jeremy had worked for several years at REC Recycling in Stronghurst.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, music, and especially enjoyed spending time with his son.

Survivors include his son, Dakota Hoover of Stronghurst, his parents, Billy and Melinda Hoover of Stronghurst, one sister, Olivia Hoover of Stronghurst, grandfather, George Vaughn of Mediapolis, Iowa, and grandmother, Dorothy Hoover of Oskaloosa, Iowa.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Vaughn and paternal grandfather, Charles Hoover.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst.  A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of his son, Dakota.  Please visit banksandbeals.com to sign the guest book and leave a condolence.
