Rose Marie Shane, 90, of Wataga, died at 1:11 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Marigold Health Care and Rehab, Galesburg.

Rose was born August 28, 1929 in Centralia, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Foster) Modglin.  She married Forrest Moore on February 2, 1947.  He preceded her in death in 1977.  She later married Raymond Shane on May 6, 1978.  He preceded her in death on January 16, 1997.  Rose is survived by two sons, William (Claudia) Moore of Lebanon, TN and Jeffrey (Kathy) Moore of Pawnee; two daughters, Meridy (Mike) Cochran of Vidalia, GA and Lora Colwell of Rock Island; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Rose worked as a records clerk at OMC Gale Products for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed playing bridge, Pinochle, and Scrabble.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pastor Darrell Grimm will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
