Senior Health Fair Hosted by OSF and The Strom Center

OSF Holy Family Medical Center and Strom Center are hosting a Senior Health Fair tomorrow morning.

All Warren and Henderson county seniors are invited to take advantage of the various screenings offered at the event, including foot, A1C, cholesterol, eye, and blood pressure screenings.

General physical and mental health questions can be answered by the staff at the event, with drawings for door prizes and breakfast provided by the Strom Center.

Information on Medicare, senior nutrition courtesy of the Jamieson Center, and caregiver resources will also be offered at the event.
Amber Wood, Community Relations Specialist at OSF, talks more about the eye health services offered at the event…

“Eye Surgeons Associates and Kehoe are looking to provide information on senior eye health as well as the opportunity for cateract surgery here in Monmouth. So there’s definitely a full two hours, you can probably come at nine and be there until eleven really getting to interact with all of the different information and agencies that will be there.”

The event will be held from 9 am to 11 am tomorrow morning, and can be found at the Strom Center at 211 South A Street in Monmouth.
