October is ‘Arts and Humanities’ Month, and the Buchanan Center for the Arts has a wide variety of events going on.

The proclamation celebrates the completion of the community’s newest public artwork, and the launch of the Buchanan Center’s month-long ‘Arts and Humanities’ celebration.
Krystine Gilbert, Executive Director of the Buchanan Center of the Arts, talks more about the event…
“So we will celebrate the public mural, all of Natalie Curtis’, and the community’s hard work all summer long enjoying the arts, experiencing the arts. As you may remember, she taught classes in June, July, and August, and she has on exhibit through October eleventh, along with the Security Savings Photography Show, her art installation, Unframed Direction.”
To become a member of the Buchanan Center for the Arts, visit them at 64 Public Square in Monmouth, they are open Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm, or Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
