Crystal Marie Morris-EL, 44, of Wataga, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Crystal was born November 25, 1974 in Galesburg, the daughter of Otis and Mary Louise (Crowell) Mason. She married Sonny S. Morris-EL on April 22, 2017 in Galesburg. He survives. Crystal is also survived by her mother, Mary L. White of Galesburg; three children, Meckael Walker of Wataga, Breonna Walker and Treveon Lee both of Galesburg; two sisters, DeVenus Mason of Florida and Michelle Mason of Indiana; one brother, Dennis Mason of Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Crystal was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Ivan White.

Crystal worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Services for several years, most recently as a trainer. She had also worked previously as a CNA for many years. Crystal was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Galesburg. She loved cook and collect sunglasses. Crystal truly enjoyed spending time with Goddaughter, Bella and being with her family.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, with funeral services following at 1 p.m. Rev. Darrell Bagwell will officiate. Burial will follow at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the family in c/o Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, 1849 N. Seminary St., Galesburg, IL 61401.
