Enroll In The Conservation Stewardship Program

Share

The five year Conservation Stewardship Program with the Natural Resources Conservation Service allows you to build on your existing conservation efforts while strengthening your operations. District Conservation Cathy Froelich says there is substantial financial gain by using this program:

“It will help you learn how to put some money toward planting cover crops, if you want to do something with your nitrogen and split the nitrogen if you are not doing that now. Say you are out there in your mulch tilling and you want to go to no till, this is a program that will help you do some financial assistance with switching over to no till. So, there are a lot of things to look at,” Froelich shares.
