Principal Appreciation Day Honors Principals at Local Schools

After Principal Appreciation Week, which started Monday, October 20, Lifetouch and the Illinois Principals Association are celebrating Prinicipal Appreciation Day today, October 25.

According to a press release submitted by the IPA, Principal Appreciation Day, “provides learning communities an opportunity to publicly recognize the work, commitment and importance of principals, assistant principals, and deans throughout the state.”

Area principals being recognized today are Jeff Ewing of Monmouth-Roseville High School, Monmouth-Roseville Junior High’s Don Farr, Monmouth-Roseville High Assistant Principal Ken McCance, Central Intermediate School Principal Becky Ince, Assistant Principal for Central Emily Adolphson, Harding Primary School Principal Katy Morrison, United High School’s Amy Schmitz, and United Junior High’s Christopher Schwarz, United West Elementary’s Patrick Coate, and United North Elementary’s Maggie Wallace.
