Pat lived in Galesburg most of her life. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1945. She stayed home with her five children and blessed her family with devotion throughout her life. Family gatherings were at the top of her favorite things to do. They brought her such joy. Along with her impressive trivia skills, she enjoyed daily crosswordpuzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. Her quiet strength, humble spirit and fortitude throughout her life were defining traits. Her witty remarks, giggle and sly facial expressions with those piercing blue eyes brought laughter and smiles. She also was sure to express appreciation to those who helped her, especially as she got older. Her gratitudewas heartwarming. Pat modeled the gifts of hospitality, living simply and being content.
