Successful Freezing For Food

Last week more than 100 members from the community came together to Freeze for Food outside Save A Lot Food Store in Monmouth to collect food and cash donations to help fill the food pantries at Jamieson Community Center and Roseville Helping Hands.

Thank you to all that gave donations, came to Freeze, or just stopped to say hello. A big thanks to the sponsors to help make this event possible: McGuire and Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Jason Spanhook-Edward Jones, Wise Family Funeral Home, City of Monmouth, Security Savings Bank, Turnbull Funeral Home, Farmers Grain, Farm King, Monmouth College, Bayer Crop Science Learning Center, Warren County United Way, Big River Resources, and Midwest Bank.

The pantry does not stop. Dozens of members of the community partake in the local food pantries. Donations are always welcomed at Jamieson Community Center and Roseville Helping Hands.
