Lana Stewart and Nicole Cole Recognized for Excellence in Teaching

Central Intermediate’s Lana Stewart and United West Elementary’s Nicole Cole were recognized for their contributions to education on-site at their school assembly and classroom respectively on Monday morning. Rachel Kerns from MTC Communications was on-hand to provide a $150 check to each Teacher to use in their classroom for students. Superintendent Ed Fletcher was present to compliment Mrs. Stewart on her years of dedication to the Monmouth-Roseville School District and Principal Patrick Coate was on-hand to compliment the excellent transition of Mrs. Cole’s role from 6th grade to 4th grade. Coate said she is a great addition to their building. Both Teachers also received a bouquet of flowers from Flowers R Us, a gift certificate to Papa’s Bar and Grill and a certificate from the Regional Office of Education.
