The NRCS has several approaching events and deadlines. Save the date for January 29, 2020 to celebrate the retirement of Ron Hall from 1pm until 4 pm at the Knox Agri Center. CRP general sign up comes to a close on February 24, 2020.
District Conservationist, Cathy Froelich, shared about the NRCS’ Open House on February 4, 2020:
“We’ll talk about CRP, EQUIP, CSP, all of these acronyms that NRCS has. WIP: Wildlife Incentive Program. Just come in and see us anytime that day.”
Froelich also mentioned the hiring of a new Resource Conservationist, Shawnee Hartman, who is currently attending Western Illinois University and will graduate in May.
