Ample Soil Moisture Heading into 2020 Planting

Share

An average amount of snowfall this winter has allowed for an ample amount of soil moisture heading into the 2020 planting season. Joe Franks, Agronomist at West Central FS, states it is good to see our area not entering the spring with drought conditions:

“With a normal winter here, I think it is kind of nice to see just that, get back to normal here a little bit and maybe fingers crossed we do get off to a good strong planting season here come April,” Franks reports.

Nitrogen still needs applied come spring in areas before planting season takes off.
