FFA Hosted Alumni Auction Wednesday Feb 19

It is FFA Week and the organization is hosting their Monmouth-Roseville Alumni Auction tonight.

The auction, which will be held at the Monmouth American Legion at six this evening, is free of charge and will include a meal. Items for the auction have been donated to local members of the community.

Jason Kilbourne, Instructor for the Monmouth-Roseville FFA, tells us where proceeds from the auction will go to.

“This money comes back to the kids. It helps scholarship money, it pays for the Washington Leadership Conference, the last three years. We sent kids out over the summer to Washington D.C. for a week and to keep the costs down for the students, the alumni kicks in a little bit to that. And the national convention and state convention. So, the money gets back to the kids.”

The Alumni Auction is part of FFA Week, which started on Monday.
