Mrs. Linda Roberts, 76, of Galesburg, Illinois died 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 at Aperion Care North, Galesburg. 

She was born March 20, 1943 in Galesburg to Ralph and Marjorie (Young) Anderson.  She married Paul Long in 1971 in Galesburg.  She later married Lee Roberts in 1980 in Galesburg.  He survives. 

Also surviving is a son, Michael (and Tricia) Long of Overland Park, Kansas; two step sons, Jon (and Linda) Roberts of Moline, Illinois and Joe (and Linda) Roberts of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; two step daughters, Julie (and Paul) Rolo of Kansas City, Missouri and Janet (and Jerry) Copeland of Lenexa, Kansas; a sister, Sandra Anderson of Aurora, Illinois; three grandchildren, Logan Long, Jillian Long, and Andrea (and Joey) Lewis; and two great grandchildren. 

Linda graduated from Galesburg High School in 1961 and later attended from Brown’s Business College in Galesburg.  She was a Bank Teller for several area banks in Galesburg.  For most of her career, she was a Title Clerk for Louis Lakis Ford in Galesburg.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Galesburg.  She was a Knox County Board member and an Election Judge.  She was a member of D.A.R., Mayflower, Order of Eastern Star, and Rainbow Girls all in Galesburg.  Linda enjoyed bowling and was on many bowling leagues in the area.  She also played Bridge for several Bridge clubs. 

As Linda requested, cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel.  A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel.  Rev. Mary Runge will officiate.  There will be a private committal in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
