OSF Holy Family Shows Appreciation to 93 Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

Share

Just off a week of celebration for National Volunteer Week, the numerous volunteers at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth play a vital role in patient services, shares Manager of Community Resources Stephanie Hilton:

“Right now, we have about 93 volunteers out at our hospital in Monmouth. Roughly every month we average 1,200 hours. We have people in our outpatient area, you will see someone helping with registration, walk you to the different areas of the hospital, as well as running labs and paperwork through the day. We also have help in our mailroom, our surgery department; obviously, our gift shop, and then we just have a special projects group, so various things that come up or mailings that we have, they like to come in and help with those. We have a monthly sewing club and therapy dogs.”

If anyone is interested in joining the volunteer staff at OSF Holy Family, you can contact Hilton at 309-734-1516.
