Captain Cozadd at the Monmouth Fire Department has been working with local agencies to coordinate a mock DUI accident for the local high schools to educate students on the consequences of drinking and driving. Director of Information Technology Ken Helms states the fire department is working with many local agencies on the event:

“They are working with the Police Department, the two high schools, coroner, State’s Attorney, GHAS our ambulance service, and we are actually going to have a helicopter service come in too,” Helms shares.

The mock DUI event is being planned for mid-April.
