Robert W. Grant, 76, of Roseville, IL, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020, 2:36 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.  He was born Sunday, August 1, 1943 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Wayne H. and Dorothy (Staat) Grant.  He married Glenda Haffner on May 15, 1987 at the farm.

Bob is survived by his wife Glenda of Roseville; Children, Roger “Tadpole” Grant of Roseville, Michele Taylor of Roseville, Michael Hood of Roseville, and Jim (Jenny) Hood of Roseville; 7 grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Makayla, Braden, Abbey, Blake, and Carson, and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother (Ed).

Bob was a lifelong farmer in the Roseville Community area.  He enjoyed his red tractors.  He was the president of the International Harvester (IH) chapter 10.  Bob was a member of the Maple City Antique Tractor Association.  He served in the US Army Reserves for six years.  He loved to growl and give 5’s to his grandkids.  He and Glenda spent many years at tractor shows and tractor rides.  He was a member of the Roseville American Legion Post 614.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 29, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL.  Visitation will be Friday evening, February 28, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Wise family Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Roseville Ambulance and/or Roseville American Legion post 614.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family Funeral Home Roseville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
