April 1st is National Census Day, the day to be counted. City of Monmouth Census Liaison Jan Helms states the response rate has been very good:

“The national response rate is 34.7%. This is either online or questionnaire. We have a map that we can monitor the response rate daily. Illinois is at 36.7% response rate. Monmouth, what a great number this is, 47.7% already and Warren County is not far behind at 46%. That is a very good response rate at this early date,” Helms reports.

Responses can be done by mail, online at http://my2020census.gov, or by phone; 844-330-2020 for English, 844-468-2020 for Spanish, and 844-494-2020 for French.
