The Knox County Area Partnership will be holding an industry showcase tomorrow, March 3, at Galesburg High School.
The showcase is designed to excite students into joining career fields growing in the region by bringing employers and industry personnel to meet them.
Ken Springer, President of the Knox County Area Partnership, says the individuals coming to meet with Galesburg students work in the healthcare field.
“We’re going to have a whole bunch of healthcare employers there with hands-on, interactive exhibits. It will be a great chance for students to talk to people who are working in the field and find out what entails being a healthcare worker.”
The industry showcase will start at 9:30 AM and end at noon.
