Mrs. Kimberly “Kim” Ann Cordle, 57, of Galesburg, Illinois formerly of Elmwood, Illinois passed away at 1:20 am Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Kim was born August 26, 1962 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Roger and Olive “Ollie” Young Toland. She married David E. Cordle in Monmouth, Illinois on June 4, 2013.

Kim is survived by her husband, David of Galesburg; her father, Roger (Linda) Toland of Industry, Illinois; her son, Jon (Lisa) Bishop of Canton, Illinois; two daughters, Justine Daniels of Georgetown, Texas and Jacy Daniels of Glenview, Illinois; her sister, Cindy (Troy) Shirrell of Macomb, Illinois; four grandsons, Jon, Jason and Bryson Bishop and Shane Daniels and two nieces, Brittni and Chelsi Shirrell. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ollie Toland.

Kim worked as a lab technician for AgReliant Genetics in Brimfield for many years. She graduated from Industry High School in 1980. Kim was known for her love of cooking and baking. Some of her specialties were desserts and muffins, but she was always looking for new recipes to try. Kim enjoyed cleaning and having a “spotless” home. She loved her family and their time spent together.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Noon Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Mary Runge will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 pm Saturday at the chapel. Entombment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
