Mrs. Mary E. Norris, of Galesburg, Illinois died 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Aperion Care, North, Galesburg.
She was born April 27, 1930 in Macomb, Illinois to Arthur R. and M. Eleanor (Hurst) Fleshman. She married Glenn B. Norris September 4, 1949 in Macomb. He preceded her in death August 15, 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Roland (and Mary Irene) Norris of Wheaton, Illinois, John (and Tere) Norris of Springfield, Missouri, and James (and Beth) Norris of Galesburg, a daughter-in-law, Kerre Norris of Galesburg, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William Norris on June 10, 2018.
Mary graduated from Western Illinois High School in Macomb in 1948 and later attended Western Illinois Teachers College in Macomb. She was a real estate agent in Galesburg, office worker for Galesburg Auto Parts and was a salesperson for Radke Furniture Store in Galesburg. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Galesburg and the Women’s Circle.
