Pair of Abingdon-Avon Student-Athletes Commit to Play at the Next Level

A pair of Abingdon-Avon High School graduates announced this week where they would continue to be student-athletes at the college level. Former Tornado volleyball player Emma Curry will stay close to home as she will play volleyball for the Knox College Prairie Fire. Curry ended her high school volleyball career with a selection to the Prairieland Conference’s All-North Division first team list. Also declaring they would sports at the collegiate level was Tylor Miller. After playing on the first-ever Abingdon-Avon soccer program, Miller will also remain close to home and play soccer for the Monmouth College Fighting Scots. He played a number of different positions for the Tornadoes, including a successful job as a goal keeper.
