Thirty-seven year-old former Monmouth High School and Western Illinois University golf standout, Ryan “Bub” McClintock is now the head golf professional at Short Hills Country Club in East Moline. McClintock, a former assistant pro at the Davenport Country Club, won the Iowa PGA Professional Championship Tournament at TPC Deere Run in Silvis in 2015 to qualify himself for the 2016 John Deere Classic. He shot a 2-day total of one under par in his lone appearance at the Classic, missing the weekend cut by just two strokes. McClintock follows Mike Downing, who has taken a job with the Iowa PGA.
