Burlington Man Facing Multiple Charges

On Thursday, May 28th, at 12:11 p.m., the Burlington Police Department responded to the 1200-block of Dehner Street in reference to multiple complaints of shots fired in the area. Upon officer’s arrival, they began speaking with witnesses and learned a male and female had been seen in the area arguing just prior to the shooting. Officers additionally conducted a search warrant on a residence and recovered a gun described by the witnesses. 23-year-old Ryan Mason O’Neill was arrested and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, going armed with intent, possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) and interference with official acts. O’Neill was taken to the Des Moines County Correctional Center. This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
