The IHSA’s Board of Directors were scheduled to meet today but in a press release sent out late yesterday afternoon, IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson said that the IHSA will now take part in a roundtable discussion with leaders from IDPH & ISBE on Friday. Anderson said he expects the meeting to provide important guidance on how the IHSA will proceed with fall sports. As a result, they have postponed the IHSA Board Meeting scheduled for today to next Wednesday.

One downstate athletic director, Mark Briggs from Roxana High School east of Alton, Illinois, has prepared his own “return to play” proposal. Admitting that it might not be perfect but would serve as a good starting point for discussions.
