Mr. Thomas R. “TC” Campbell, 72, of Galesburg, Illinois died 6:59 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. 

He was born April 27, 1948 in Tucson, Arizona to Roy and Suzanna (Lees) Campbell.  He married Becky Coe April 28, 1984 in Galesburg.  She survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Jennifer (and Paul) Alley of Overland Park, Kansas, Cheryl Callihan of Independence, Missouri, Alysia Harder of Overland Park, and Sarah (and Drew) Scoggin of Charlotte, North Carolina, two step sons, Aaron (and Jaime) Coe of Sandy Creek, New York and Adam (and Suzie) Coe of Louisville, Kentucky, 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. 

TC graduated from Logansport High School in Indiana.  He then served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.  He later graduated from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.  TC was the Director of Nutrition Services for Galesburg Cottage Hospital for 25 years and Proctor Hospital in Peoria for 5 years.  He retired in 2013.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, painting, going to garage sales, and making wood crafts to give to his family.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. 

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel.  Due to social distancing limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, seating will be limited and face masks will be required.  Graveside service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.  Rev. Tom Ek will officiate.  Military rites will be conducted by the VFW/American Legion Honor Guard.  Memorials may be made to Cross Roads Counseling and Life Coaching, Galesburg.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
