Carol I. Stinemates, 77, of Roseville, IL passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, 6:54 p.m. at her home.  She was born Thursday December 24, 1942, in Avon, IL the daughter of Duane and Alice (Detterding) Huston.  She married David Stinemates on July 7, 1963.

Carol is survived by her husband of 57 Years; children, Cathryn (Tim) Bowman of Moline and Greg (Amie) Stinemates of Gilbert, AZ; Grandchildren, Ben Stinemates, Kyle Stinemates, Mason Stinemates, Aliyah Stinemates, Reece (Areli) Bowman and Riley Bowman; one brother, Rodney (Sandy) Huston of Roseville; two sisters, Nancy (Rodney) Sawyer of Cuba Il, and Bonnie (Gerald) Huston of East Moline Il. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers (Kenneth Huston and Robert Huston).

Carol loved to study the Bible, cook, mentor other women, minister Gods Word at the Roseville Rehab and Healthcare Center.  She played the piano, hosted Victorian Tea Parties, and enjoyed genealogy.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.   She was a founding and dedicated member of the Living Light Church.  She was a member of MBC Club and the Roseville Women’s Club.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 3, 2020. 10:00 a.m. at the Living Light Church.  Visitation will be Friday Evening, October 2, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Living Light Church.  Burial will be in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery Roseville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Living Light Church PO Box 505 Roseville, IL 61473.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.  Wise Family funeral Home Roseville is in charge of the arrangements.
