Oscar L. Todd, 93, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 2:10 pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home.

He was born June 15, 1927 in Blandinsville, IL the son of William and Pansey (Williams) Todd.  He was raised and educated in Herdland, Mo and Lomax, IL.

Oscar served with the United States Army Air Corp during World War II.

Oscar married Mary Helen Bickell in Kirkwood, IL on January 21, 1950; she preceded him in death on January 27, 2010.

Oscar was a section worker for the C, B & Q Railroad and later the Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring in 1972.

He was a member of the Monmouth American Legion Post 136 and the Monmouth VFW Post #2301.

Survivors include his children, Mike (Janine) Todd of Camdenton, MO, Mark (Laurie) Todd of Monmouth, IL, Kim (Mike) Giddings of Monmouth, IL, and Lisa (Marty) Waller of Martinsville, IN; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his brother, Martin Todd of Monmouth, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Virgil Todd, one sister, Edna Sherman, and one great grandson, Alex Killip.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Interment with Military Honors will be at Center Grove Cemetery, Kirkwood.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be to the American Legion/V.F.W.
