Officer Benson Says Cops and Kids will be Done Differently Due to COVID

Due to the coronavirus, Cops and Kids put on by the Monmouth FOP Lodge 265 will look a little different this year. President of the FOP Officer Bill Benson has more:

“Casey’s donated pizza gift cards for the kids, so they will get that along with their presents. Shopping will be held on December 12th at Walmart in Galesburg without the kids. We are going to get a list from their parents prior to so we can do the shopping for them. Then we will deliver the presents to the children on the 13th of December,” Benson explains.

Last year 30 children were a part of the Monmouth FOP 265 Cops and Kids program.
