Volunteers Clean Up Square in Downtown Monmouth

Share

A small group of volunteers got together to clean up the downtown square in Monmouth on Wednesday afternoon. Owner of Pepperoni’s Pizza, Teresa Jones, shares why she got involved and the special treat she brought for the volunteers:

“I was scrolling through Facebook and I just stumbled across some pictures of it. I really love this park. It has been one of my favorite places to come in my couple of years here. I thought why not grab the kiddos and come out and clean it up. I offered them free pizza. I own Pepperoni’s here in town. I figured the best way to get people to come out is give them some pizza,” Jones says.
