Danny L. Ross, 68, of Monmouth, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, in OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born August 27, 1952, in Monmouth, the son of Earl L. and Jeraldine L. (Smith) Ross Sr.

He is survived by three daughters, Jessica (Wilson) Jackson, Julie (Jamie) Tutt, and Danielle (Cheryl) Ross, all of Monmouth; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Martha (Jerry) Brock and Mary (Clayton) Dean, both of Monmouth; three brothers, Terry Ross of Monmouth, Michael (Jody) Ross of Galesburg, and Russell (Theresa) Ross of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Kendall Tippett of Monmouth; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joanne Ross in infancy and Rose Tippett; and three brothers, Earl Ross Jr., Ronnie Ross, and Gary Ross.

Danny worked for the City of Monmouth in the street department for many years before retiring.  Danny and his sister, Mary, enjoyed many summers camping and fishing on Spring Lake, near Macomb.

Following Danny’s wishes, his body will be cremated.  No visitation or service is planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to OSF Richard L.
