Jean Taylor, 86, of Monmouth, IL, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, 11:20 p.m. at the Monmouth Nursing Home.  She was born Monday, September 24, 1934, in Roseville, IL the daughter of Calvin and Dorothy (Ramer) Wilson. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her children, Doug (Melanie) Taylor and Robin (Ed Derry) Gough; grandchildren, Walter Vann and Matt Grose, 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Barbara Wilson, and Connie Larkin; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister (Jane Thrush), 1 brother-in-law (Ed Larkin).

Jean worked at the Roseville High School as a secretary in 1953.  She worked at the Roseville Clinic in 1954, working there for 60 years, retiring at the age of 80.  Jean worked for Dr. Hoyt, Icenogle, and Leonard.  She hosted wonderful holiday meals and meals for family and friends.  She loved her family and Jean was a die-hard Cubs Fan.
