Phase 1B Vaccines Including Those 65 and Older in Warren County will Begin Monday, Jan. 25

Share

The Warren County Health Department announces today that beginning Monday, January 25, 2021, persons 65 years and older in Phase 1B for COVID-19 vaccinations may call 309-734-4914 to schedule an appointment.
At this time, we are asking that you call each Monday to schedule an appointment for clinics to be held that week. We will only be scheduling appointments for that current week. Once the clinic is full then you would need to call back the next week for available appointments. Due to the overwhelming number of calls received, we ask that you do not leave a message for us to return your call. Please try to call back until you reach one of our schedulers. These clinics will be by appointment only. Walk-in clinics are not being offered at this time. You can visit our website at www.warrencohealth.com to obtain the consent form and the Moderna Fact Sheet for your vaccination. You may bring the completed form with you to your appointment, but it is not required.

In addition, the health department will continue to vaccinate those individuals in Phase 1A who may still need their 1st dose. The health department will be scheduling Phase 1A individuals who received their first vaccine from the health department and are due for their second dose when they become available. Additional Phase 1B groups that will be prioritized at this time will be firefighters, law enforcement, first responders, and Warren County school districts.

We thank you for your patience as we have worked to put together a strategy to safely and effectively distribute vaccine. Additional options for access to vaccination will be announced as our allocation increases to meet Phase 1B priority groups which will be a very large percentage of our population. We encourage you to follow our Facebook page, website, and local media outlets for current information regarding available clinics.
