We have a fun ballgame out of the Lincoln Trail Conference tonight on the PCSN. Two undefeated teams will do battle at the Fieldhouse at United High School. The (7-0) United Red Storm boys basketball team welcomes the, likewise, (7-0) Wethersfield to town. Both teams are currently (4-0) in the LTC standings.
Wethersfield senior Coltin Quagliano broke the all-time school, and Lincoln Trail Conference, scoring record against Ridgewood on Tuesday night. His 30 point night gave him a total of 2053 points in his illustrious 4-year career with the Flying Geese. That broke the school record held by Nathan Kohler and also the LTC record held by former Annawan Brave, Tanner Carlson. Quagliano added another 21 points to his already impressive total in a win over Peoria Heights on Wednesday.
The United Red Storm are led by the Flynn brothers. Senior Declan and junior Cormaic both are averaging nearly 20 points a game, with Declan adding nearly 10 rebounds a contest. It’s also senior night for the Red Storm boys.
