Jan Marie Mayon, 65, of Galesburg, died at 2:28 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville.

Jan was born March 27, 1955 in Galesburg, the daughter of LeRoy and Delores (Wilson) Hollowell.  Jan married David Coleman, Sr., in 1971 in Galesburg.  They had one son, David Coleman, Jr., who survives of Galesburg; as does one grandson, Demitrus Coleman of Chicago.  Jan is also survived by one sister, Linda Randle of Galesburg; one nephew, Ramondo Randle of Iowa and several cousins.

Along with her parents, Jan was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Froniburger; and her grandparents, Harriet and Charlie Wilson and Alisha and Bursie Williams.

Jan worked at OMC Gale Products, Goodwill, and numerous other jobs in Galesburg.  She was a member of Good News Baptist Church, Galesburg.  Jan loved antiquing and spending time in the kitchen cooking for her family.

Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com
