Bellamy Roe Skipton, age four months, passed away suddenly at his
residence in Oquawka, Illinois on April 15, 2021. Bellamy was born on
December 16, 2020 in Burlington, Iowa and is the son of Mikahla Crane
and Dylan Skipton. He is survived by his parents Mikahla and Dylan of
Oquawka, Illinois and his maternal grandparents, Jason Crane and Becky
of Ellisville, Illinois and Arcelia Wardell and Tony O’reilly of
Galesburg, Illinois. His paternal grandparents survive, Angela Skipton
of Burlington, Iowa and Larry Beeding of Mediapolis, Iowa and step
grandmother, Amy Miller. Bellamy’s Maternal Great grandmothers, Judy
Gaskill of Pilot Oak, Kentucky and Sandra Fouts of Galesburg, Illinois.
His paternal great grandmother survives Kathryn Skipton in Burlington,
Iowa. Bellamy’s maternal aunts and uncles survive, Colyn Crane and Heidi
in Alpha, Illinois, Hunter Wardell of Galesburg, Illinois, Brayden
Godsil and Caibre Godsil both of Galesburg, Illinois. His paternal aunt
and uncle survive, Allison Skipton of Burlington, Iowa and Brayden
Skipton also of Burlington, Iowa.
At this time cremation is being accorded and visitation and/or service
are not being planned. A celebration of Bellamy’s life will be planned
at a later date. He is in the care of Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka.
