ISP Investigates Fatal Traffic Crash in Warren County

The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 14

WHAT:                      Single Vehicle Fatal Traffic Crash

WHERE:                   US Route 67 northbound, just south of 90th Avenue, Roseville Township, Warren County.

WHEN:                      April 2, 2021 at 5:50 a.m.

VEHICLE:                Unit 1 – White 2020 Mack Truck tractor semi-trailer

DRIVER:                   Unit 1 – Doug E. Hill, a 57-year-old male from Macomb, IL – Pronounced deceased on scene. 

PRELIMINARY:      Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling northbound on U.S. Route 67, just south of 90th Avenue, in Warren County.  For an unknown reason, Unit 1 left the roadway to the right and overturned in the east ditch. The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced deceased on scene.  No further information will be disseminated at this time.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
