Monmouth College President Dr. Wyatt Announces COVID-19 Vaccines will not be Required for Fall Semester

Share

Many colleges and universities say that they’ll require students to have the COVID-19 vaccine for the fall semester. President Dr. Clarence Wyatt shares how Monmouth College plans to respond:

“We are strongly encouraging faculty, staff, and students to get vaccinated and from what we can tell many of our folks are working to get vaccinated. We want to encourage them to do that and may provide incentives later on if we feel like we need to but at this moment we are not looking to require.”

Monmouth College has administered over 2,300 COVID-19 tests using SHIELD IL testing. The testing will be available for community members through the summer and continued through the fall.
