Bonnie J. Duane, 70, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, 3:10 AM at Unity Point Methodist, Peoria.
Bonnie was born on November 21, 1950 in Galesburg. She was the daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Nelson) Blake. She married David Duane at the Knoxville United Methodist Church on January 25, 2003. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 18 years, David; her children, Jeremy (Ingrid) Law of Cleveland, Wisconsin, Lisa (Ken) Leath of Oquawka, Kevin (Jaime) Duane of Davenport, Iowa and Kyle (Heather) Duane of Richpond, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Susan, Diane, Carol, Peggy and Kathy. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve.
Bonnie was a homemaker who took great pride in her home. She also enjoyed landscaping, gardening, sewing, painting and fixing antiques.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville. Rev. Tucker O’Leary will officiate. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory have been entrusted with services. Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Fire and Police Department in honor of Bonnie.
