James (Jim) M. Adkisson

James (Jim) M. Adkisson 91 of Roseville Passed away June 13, 2021, at home.  He was born April 4, 1930, in Rural Roseville, the son of Marvin and Edith (Foster) Adkisson.  He married Lorna L. Kington December 29, 1951, in Roseville, Il. 

Jim is survived by his wife Lorna of Roseville, his sons David B. (Heidi) Adkisson of Seattle, WA and J. Todd (Lora) Adkisson of Roseville, Il.  Grandchildren Jessica L. Adkisson of Lockport, Il and Matthew Adkisson of Macomb, Il. 

He was preceded in death by his Parents and brother Roy Adkisson.

Jim was a graduate of Roseville High school.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1951 serving in the Korean war.  He farmed most of his life in the Roseville community area.  He enjoyed hunting and Fishing.  He was a wonderful husband, dad, and Grandfather.  Jim was a member of the Roseville American Legion Post.  Member of the Roseville Masonic Lodge.  Jim served on the Swan Creek Fire Department and also served as President of the R.S.P. & E. Fire Protection District.  Member of the Swan Creek Methodist Church.

Funeral Service will be held Friday June 18th 2021, at 10:00am. at Wise family Funeral Home in Roseville.  Visitation will be held Thursday June 17th from 5-7pm. Burial will be in Roseville Township Cemetery where Military honors will be accorded.  Memorials may be made to the R.S.P. & E. Fire Protection District and or Roseville American legion.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville is in charge of arrangements
