Rent Assistance Available Locally at JCC

Rental assistance through the Illinois Rental Payment Program is available at Jamieson Community Center says Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“We have been able to help quite a few people in our community through that program. The landlord led portion ended on June 7^th and now the tenants can finish up their application. If the landlords did not submit an application completely, you are on hold for a little bit. We will start the tenant led portion in a few weeks. We are doing training on June 22^nd. This program is for people that are behind in their rent. They will pay up to nine months back rent and three months forward rent.”
