William E. “Bill” Crawford, age 80, of Oneida, Illinois died on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.

Bill was born on January 12, 1941 in Bushnell, Illinois the son of Floyd S. and Evelyn (Campbell) Crawford. He married Sharon (Chase) English on July 7, 1984 in Galesburg, Illinois. She survives of Oneida, Illinois.

Also surviving are his children: David English of Galesburg, Illinois. April Wade of Burlington, Iowa, Chelli Starcevich of Germantown Hills, Illinois, Candi (Brian) Hedrick of Victoria, Illinois, and Christa (David) Dieckow of Fairview, Illinois; twelve grandchildren: Layne, Samantha, Shelbi, Chelsey, Stephanie, Chase, Trent, Richard, Aaron, William, Caitlin, and Fayth; six great grandchildren; one sister Marsha (Ron) Schmidt of Colchester, Illinois, and his best friend, Corky. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

He worked as a Sanitary Engineer for over 25 years at the Former Maytag of Galesburg, Illinois. He enjoyed attending and selling at the flea markets for over 50 years.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Oneida, Illinois, with a memorial service at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bob Nutzhorn officiating.
