Lawmaker asks schools to adopt resolution pushing for local control

An Illinois lawmaker wants local boards to adopt a resolution asking the governor to relinquish his power when it comes to executive orders regarding schools. State Senator Neil Anderson says the more districts that support the resolution the better.

The governor issued an executive order last week requiring students and staff to wear masks while indoors.
