Minnesota Man Arrested in Henderson County After Fleeing Scene of Single Vehicle Accident

Henderson County Chief Deputy Matthew Link releases the arrest information of Caleb Anthony Phelps, age 25 of Wilmar, MN. The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle accident near 2000E on IL Rt 116. A witness stated they seen a man walking away from the scene towards Warren County. Warren County was notified of the incident and a Deputy located the male walking, unharmed. The male, identified as Phelps, later admitted to driving the vehicle and leaving the scene. Phelps was charged with Driving While License Revoked and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Phelps was also arrested on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant for violation of condition of release. Phelps is currently held in the Henderson County Jail on no bond.
