Phyllis Kay Arnold, 81, of Galesburg, IL passed away at 4:00 am, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, IL.

Phyllis was born June 23, 1940 in Monmouth, Il the daughter of Walter and Shirley (Gillette) Brown.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1957

Phyllis married Herbert Arnold in Monmouth, IL on September 26, 1964 and he passed away April 4, 2016.

Phyllis was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and loving her cats.

Survivors include her sons, John Brown of Hutchinson, KS, Steve Brown of Galesburg, IL, and Jay Arnold of Woodward, Ok; her daughters, Julia Arnold of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and Jennifer Clifford of Galesburg, IL; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; her brothers, Wayne Brown of Watseka, IL, Roger Barron and James Barron both of Monmouth, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, Dennis Brown and sister, Dixie Barron.
